SWAPS are a little handmade tokens of friendship Girl Scouts make to trade with each other at special events. Each girl should decide how many she wants to make…this will be the same amount she receives in return. Swaps are usually only an inch or two in size and can be made from almost anything…new, used or recycled. It’s nice to include your troop number and the name and date of the event to remember the fun times. Swaps are traditionally worn on a “SWAP” hat (a baseball cap) but can also be attached to a long scrap of fabric or felt.
